It’s been some time since we wrote anything here but sometimes that happens

Nasty Cut Fest 2026 is on full speed, and approaching fast. Thank you all so much for selling out all of the Early Bird tickets – you rule!

8 bands announced, what about that?

We have our first bands from Japan, Hollow Suns. We have been following them for some years now and actually saw them in Japan back in October. Very stoked for to have them over.

Also, Shoreline! Let’s goooo – we’ve been trying to make that happen for 3 years now, and it couldn’t have happened at a better time. What a great record they just released!

Also the CPH scene is here and is strong! We have Pelts bringing the indie vibes, Farmand with their amazing live shows (DON’T MISS OUT FOLKS!), and Tackle who are going strong in the melodic hc circles. Of course there’s more to come here…

Where are my emo punks at? Are you ready for some midnorth emo from Probleman? Or some emo hardcore from Pluto the Racer? There’s of course much more emo to come hehe

And of course, Harker, one of UK’s most upcoming bands in the DIY punk scene will be visiting our fest too.

We’re excited to share that Chloe Hawes has just dropped a brand new acoustic version of Polaroid, one of the standout tracks from their debut full-length Remains/Reminders.

The original version of Polaroid hit hard with gritty Americana and punk grit. This acoustic take strips the track down to its emotional core. With nothing but voice and guitar, Chloe’s storytelling shines even brighter, offering an intimate and raw reinterpretation of the song. It’s a quiet moment that cuts deep.

The acoustic version was recorded live, capturing all the nuance and vulnerability of the lyrics, and serves as a reminder of Chloe’s roots in DIY folk-punk songwriting. Fans of Katie Malco, or early Frank Turner will find a lot to love here.

Sport are back with their 4th full length after a 9 year break. The new album, In Waves, sounds like they have never been away sound fresh and playful as ever.

I (Andreas) can still remember trying like crazy to get their “The disco after the breakdown 2010-2019” LP collection back in 2019, so saying this is one of my favorite bands is an understatement. Seeing our little label being part of their new album, still feels like a dream sometimes.
