Vægtløs
Copenhagen’s Vægtløs weigh catharsis against chaos, fusing razor-sharp post-hardcore with droning blackgaze textures into emotionally charged decibels. They bleed tension and release in equal measure.

Bio
Formed in Denmark’s DIY hardcore scene in 2019, Vægtløs (Danish for “weightless”) blend bleak soundscapes with visceral aggression. Their music channels bands like Envy, Deafheaven, and Lantlôs, mixing ferocious riffing, tremolo-picked atmosphere, and anguished vocals. Their debut EP Kakofoni (2022) earned praise for its balance of cathartic noise and haunting melodic depth; the follow-up Aftryk (2024) expanded on this with layered feedback and textural intensity.
Vægtøs are revered as architects of Danish post-hardcore, integral to Copenhagen’s underground circuit. They’ve played DIY spaces and venues alongside acts like Hexis and Telos, as well as festivals like Roskilde Festival. In each show they stage becomes a ritual of emotional release: anxiety, loss, beauty, and rage fused into catharsis.
