Our Story

It all started when Andrew spammed his way and jokingly asked Leo if he would release Hoi-Poi’s Dread and Vision on his imaginary label.

This led to the creation of Nasty Cut Records in March 2018. Since then, we strive to support artists and DIY projects as much as possible, but as we are probably cursed with bad luck it’s not always easy.

Currently the label mainly operates in Copenhagen, DK (with some initiatives still happening in Athens, GR), and as of 2019 it produces its own eco-friendly cassettes and strives for sustainability and eco-concioussness within music production and show production, apart from the regular label stuff.
